Dr. Dolian will speak with you about your pet’s current condition, walk you through the process of euthanasia, and answer any of your questions. If you would like to have more than a brief phone call to discuss your pet’s current condition, we recommend a quality-of-life consultation, which can be done over the phone. 

A quality-of-life consultation can be very helpful if you are not sure if it is the right time to help your pet to pass. The consultation consists of up to a 1-hour phone call to discuss your pet’s current medical condition and overall well-being. The consultation can also include the review of medical records from your veterinarian. For information about pricing please see our Services & Costs page. We understand that the decision to euthanize your beloved pet can be extremely difficult. Some families find it helpful to fill out a quality-of-life scale to help them determine if the most loving thing they can do for their pets is to help them pass peacefully. If you are still unsure if it is the right time to help your pet to pass after looking at the quality-of-life scale, a phone consultation with Dr. Dolian is recommended.

Please bear in mind that Loving Goodbyes is not an emergency service. Messages, emails, and phone calls are typically returned between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday, and 8 am through 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. To best accommodate your schedule and give your family time to prepare, we recommend reaching out at least 1 to 2 days prior to when you would like Dr. Dolian to visit. We do understand that pets can decline suddenly and same-day, evening, and weekend appointments are accommodated to the best of our ability.
