Private Cremation

Your pet’s remains will be handled with dignity and care. When you chose a private cremation your pet will be the only one placed in the cremation block for the entire process of cremation. When the process is complete the ashes of your pet will be collected with care and they will be returned to you in the urn of your choice.

  • This method includes a selection of 4 different urns.

  • Ashes will be returned to your regular veterinarian or arrangements can be made for you to pick them up from the crematorium.

  • Includes a hair clipping and clay paw print if you would like them.

Communal Cremation

Your pet’s remains will be handled with dignity and care. They will be placed into the crematory block with the remains of other pets. Once the process is complete, the ashes of your pet and the others it was cremated with are placed into a communal burial lot at a pet cemetery.

  • The ashes of your pet cannot be returned to you with this method.

  • This method does include hair clipping.

  • A clay paw print can be added for $50.

You may also choose to keep the body of your pet

If you wish to bury your pet on your property, please refer to your county and city ordinances about requirements for burial after euthanasia medication has been administered. It is possible for the euthanasia drug to contaminate groundwater and harm animals that may ingest it when a burial is not done properly which can lead to fines from the city or county.

  • It is not legal to bury pets in many cities and counties. Please confirm that it is legal to bury your pet before choosing this option and consider the possible concerns with having the euthanasia medication in your backyard soil.

  • Please also consider contacting your local utilities to ensure that you do not dig where there are any underground cables.

  • Please bear in mind that it is much safer to bury ashes or spread them.

  • A hair clipping is included if you would like one, however, a clay paw print cannot be included with this method.

  • If you elect to keep the body of your pet a trip fee of $100 to $150 will be added to the price of the euthanasia depending on the size of the pet.
